Dr. LeJeune is a licensed and board-certified Neuropsychologist at CAPA Cincinnati, specializing in cognitive assessments for children and adolescents with various brain-related conditions. She brings 16 years of experience from Cincinnati Children’s, where she served patients and their families after completing her specialty training in Neuropsychology in 2008. Dr. LeJeune has conducted thousands of evaluations for children facing a wide range of issues, including preterm birth, low birthweight, in utero substance exposure, congenital heart defects, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, brain injury, stroke, spina bifida, pediatric cancers, and numerous genetic conditions. In addition to performing comprehensive Neuropsychological evaluations, she possesses extensive expertise in diagnosing ADHD and Specific Learning Disorders such as dyslexia and dyscalculia, making her one of the leading psychologists in Cincinnati, OH.
During her time at Cincinnati Children’s, Dr. LeJeune was the Lead Clinician for the Neuropsychology Service for 7 years. Before assuming this role, she supervised and trained postdoctoral students on the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. Her collaborative work with specialists, primary care providers, psychologists, speech-language pathologists, and other professionals in the Medical Center and community has significantly enriched her practice. Furthermore, her research focused on improving the clarity and utility of Neuropsychological evaluation reports for referring providers, families, schools, and other stakeholders.
Dr. LeJeune completed her BA in psychology at The University of Mississippi, followed by her MS in 2003 and PhD in 2006 from Purdue University’s Rehabilitation Psychology program at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). She then pursued specialist training in Neuropsychology through Cincinnati Children’s two-year Postdoctoral Fellowship program. In 2012, she achieved board certification in Clinical Neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP). Dr. LeJeune is an active member of the Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology (AACN), American Psychological Association (APA), and Ohio Psychological Association (OPA), further establishing her reputation in the field of psychology in Cincinnati.
