Dr. LeJeune is a licensed and board-certified Neuropsychologist who specializes in cognitive assessments for children and adolescents who have conditions that involve the brain. She comes to CAPA from Cincinnati Children’s where she served patients and their families for 16 years after finishing her specialty training in Neuropsychology there in 2008. She has completed thousands of evaluations for children with a broad range of conditions including preterm birth/low birthweight, in utero substance exposure, congenital heart defect, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, brain injury, stroke, spina bifida, pediatric cancers, and a variety of genetic conditions. Dr. LeJeune was the Lead Clinician for the Neuropsychology Service at Cincinnati Children’s for 7 years. Prior to taking on that role, she supervised and trained postdoctoral students on the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. Throughout her time at Cincinnati Children’s she routinely collaborated with specialist and primary care providers, psychologists, speech-language pathologists, and other providers in the Medical Center and in the community. Her work also involved research that sought to make written Neuropsychological evaluation reports more understandable and useful to referring providers, families, schools, and other stakeholders.

After completing her BA in psychology at The University of Mississippi, Dr. LeJeune earned her MS in 2003 and PhD in 2006 from Purdue University’s Rehabilitation Psychology program at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). She then completed specialist training in Neuropsychology through Cincinnati Children’s two-year Postdoctoral Fellowship program. In 2012 she earned her board certification in Clinical Neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP). She is a member of the Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology (AACN), American Psychological Association (APA), and Ohio Psychological Association (OPA).
