Dr. Nicole Bing is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in the diagnosis of neurodevelopmental disorders including autism spectrum disorders. In addition, she has experience with ADHD and behavioral disorders. Prior to her work in private practice, Dr. Bing was a staff psychologist for over 12 years in the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics (DDBP) and The Kelly O’Leary Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Bing was the head of the psychology department in DDBP, for 5 years, overseeing the clinical care of close to 30 psychologists as well as program development in DDBP Psychology in addition to providing clinical care and research.
Dr. Bing’s clinical career has focused on the assessment of individuals with developmental delays, Intellectual Disabilities, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and co-morbid conditions such as anxiety or behavioral disorders. In the past, she also conducted behavioral treatment for children with developmental and behavioral concerns including severe behavior and served as a consultant for Applied Behavioral Analysis programs. Training has also been an important component of Dr. Bing’s work as she has been a supervisor of graduate trainees and fellows for many years. Dr. Bing’s research has focused on early symptoms of autism spectrum disorders and developmental profiles of children with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex as well as improvement of access to clinical care. In addition, Dr. Bing was a member and for the last two years the co-leader of the Behavioral Scientist committee of the Autism Treatment Network (ATN).
Dr. Bing graduated from Miami University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology. She completed her graduate work at Xavier University, where she earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology and a Doctor of Psychology degree (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology with a certificate in Business Administration. Her internship was completed at The Kennedy Krieger Institute and Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Bing then completed her post-doctoral fellowship in the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
Bing is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Association for Behavior Analysis International. She resides in West Chester with her husband and three children.
